Everyone knows someone who is always travelling or maybe that could be you. Looking for something special for the travel lover in your life?

Travelling always looks so attractive but for some it takes quite a lot of planning and organisation. Many travellers usually have their set of travel items already packed and ready to go.

Each person is different but I’m sure you can find something on this list that would be a great gift for the traveller in your life.

1. Sleep Mask

A sleep mask is an absolute travel essential for me! I cannot sleep without it! I know there are some extremely lucky people who fall asleep as soon as they close their eyes but unfortunately, I am not one of them. And for anyone like me, this is definitely a great buy, something comfortable and blocks out the light with such a great frame. I’ve tried the cheap ones and the light still peeks through.

2. Passport Cover (with RFID Blocking)

Another great option for a frequent traveller is this passport cover with RFID blocking. I didn’t even know this was a thing but apparently without this protection your passport information could be read from a distance if someone has the right technology and the wrong intentions. Just so you know this is also the case with credit cards. I love the variety of colours available so you should be able to find a colour that suits to make a great gift! Also, it’s not too expensive and it’s such a thoughtful gift.

3. Universal Travel Adapter

When you travel, you never know where your next technological charge will come from. And with the amount of technology that needs charging nowadays, two outlets just isn’t going to cut it anymore. A universal travel adapter is super helpful in this case. It’s not too chunky so it’s easy to travel with. And it comes with 3 AC outlets (the regular outlets we use) plus 4 USB ports. So you can charge up to 7 items simultaneously. There is also a surge protector to keep your gadgets safe. And it even includes Type I for Australia and China, Type G for UK, Ireland, and Hong Kong, and Type A for USA, Mexico, and Japan. These are just examples of countries which use each type.

4. Toiletry Organiser

A waterproof toiletry organiser is the perfect gift! All your personal items are small and compact and always get lost inside a suitcase. It’s much easier to have them all in one place so that it’s easy to take to the bathroom with you and everything is compartmentalised! And this one is waterproof so you don’t have to worry about putting it down on a wet counter and the outside getting soggy. You don’t even have to put it on a counter because it has a built in hanger as well.

5. Shoes Sac

Our shoes go everywhere and touch everything, why would we want them touching everything in our suitcase? This is a big one for me because we step in some pretty gross things which definitely shouldn’t roll around with all our clean clothes. That’s where this shoe sac comes in to save the day. And they are also waterproof. Such a simple and cost effective gift to get someone who travels and worries about hygiene.

6. Foldable Hat

Everywhere I go, I take a hat! Hats are always pretty bulky and hard to walk around with so I was absolutely delighted when I found this foldable hat. This hat is great for providing shade when exploring in the heat. It may not be the fanciest of hats that all the influencers use but it is practical and easy to pack.

7. Packing Cubes

For the very organised traveller, they would love to receive the gift of packing cubes. These make travelling so much easier than having to rummage through your entire suitcase to look for your hair brush or favourite t-shirt. I have done this too many times for me not to recommend packing cubes. Especially ones with different sizes so you can organise based on each segment of items.

8. Tech Pouch

Continuing in the spirit of organisation is the technology pouch. All the cords we have these days can be such a mess and create so much clutter. This pouch makes it easy to organise it all and make this more manageable. I even use this when I’m not travelling to help make things easier to find. A great gift for anyone!

9. Travel Wallet (with RFID Blocking)

The title doesn’t explain this one too well but this is pretty similar to the passport cover mentioned above. The travel wallet however is for the important items you are travelling with like passport, credit cards, cash, and even keys. This ensures that no one is able to scan your items and steal your information. Travelling can be very hectic so knowing that your most valuable items are safe, can really be the peace of mind some of us need.

I hope this list gives you an idea of some thoughtful options to buy for that traveller in your life. Which one do you like the most?

  1. Great list! I grabbed a universal travel adapter although different than the one you recommended. We will be using it on a cruise this week. Yay! Love all the travel goodies.
